Bethesda Rescue Station
Bethesda Rescue Station is a home for unwed mothers. We have helped over 300 women in a crisis pregnancy situation. We exist not only to help the mother, but often to save the baby that would otherwise be aborted. Some of the mothers we take in have attempted abortion up to 3 times without success. Though they are in a place of distress, most of them with no place to go, some rejected by their families, the ministry at Bethesda is a place where they can find love and mercy. Bethesda is a place to meet Jesus, and receive help in a time of need. Because of what Jesus, and what he has done for each of us, hopeless situations are replaced with hope and a new start. Lives are being turned around and the lives of many babies are spared.
Bethesda also exists to house visiting missionaries, pastors, and guest. We try to provide a comfortable and hospitable environment for them to rest between the demanding tasks of ministering throughout South East Asia.
Bethesda also helps within the community. Each Saturday over 130 children are shuttled in to Bethesda to be taught the Word of God and it is our goal that they come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Many of these children would not hear the gospel were it not for this aspect of the ministry. Staff from Bethesda also minister within the community in home groups to reach the parents of the children. For more about the children's ministry please click here.
Within the Bethesda compound is "Springs of Living Water". This is a facility that can hold up to 300 people for teaching and training. It also has a dormitory to sleep up to 60 people. We allow various partner ministries to use this facility for training. It is also used for many different ministries that World Missions for Jesus is involved with including: G12, pastoral training, youth retreats, and the School of Worship.
Bethesda also serves as the headquarters for World Missions for Jesus Philippines, which has had an impact not only on the Philippines, but South East Asia.
