Gisela Huyssen, founder and pastor of the Leuchthaus, felt the call of God to go back to her hometown and start a church.  In summer of 2004, in obedience to God, she moved from the mission field in the Philippines to the mission field of her hometown. 

She began meeting together with friends and family once a week teaching the Word of God.  Through these meetings, the people that she met with came to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

On June 18, 2006 the Leuchthaus opened its doors for their first meeting together in the new church building. Since then the Leuchthaus has been growing and helping people strengthen their walk with God.

Our goal:        

We would like to reach Frickenhausen and the surrounding areas in Germany with the Love of God, and to do what ever we can to see the gospel spread throughout the world.  We would like to do whatever we can to make an impact for Jesus.
