According to a recent DAWN 2000 report presented to the Philippine Council of Evangelical churches, there are currently about 52,000 churches in the Philippines. 22% of them, that is 11,440 churches do not have pastors at all. Of the 40,560 churches that do have pastors, 44% of those pastors have never been trained! So, in the Philippines today there are 11,440 churches in need of pastors and there are 17,846 pastors holding churches, who need training. This is a burden that God has put upon our hearts, so in 2003 we began to establish a team of likeminded pastors, and together with that team we have offered training and mentoring to pastors in the Philippines, and other Asian nations. So far, we have trained 1000 pastors, so there is still much work to be done. We currently offer an intensive pastoral training program consisting of a 16-day lock in, that to date has completely changed the life and ministry of every pastor that has attended. Weekly mentoring meetings and quarterly follow-up training follow this intensive training for pastors.
