Our second son Austin was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. During his first two months he was yellow and could not even make any sound. No voice is coming out even though we know his trying to cry. We took him for some tests to see what is wrong with him. I felt sorry for my little baby getting poked and prodded for blood tests, sometimes the nurse and doctors could not even find his veins. When the test came back, they said that he did have any thyroid gland that helps him to produce hormones for his development. He will have to take medications for life. That news broke my heart for my baby. But the doctor told us that is was good they detected the problem right away, (Austin was 3 months old) because if he reached 5 months he would have been retarded. Right then I prayed and pleaded to God for miracles to happen. After that I felt peace in my heart and I new without a shadow of a doubt that my son will get healed. As he grew, the dosage of his medication was constantly changing. When Austin turned 5 yrs old we consulted another specialist and she told us to have Austin’s thyroid ultrasound. When we got the result back the doctor was so surprised because the ultrasound showed that Austin had a thyroid gland, so that means he can produced hormones. It was indeed a miracle. The doctor still advised us to continue to give Austin medication and observe. Now Austin is 8 yrs old, and my faith still remains, believing God’s total healing. Last month, we went for his ½ yr. check up and blood test. His doctor is again amazed on his progress. She told us that it might be his last year of taking hormone medication because his thyroid has now kicking in. Instead of his being Hypothyroid (too low hormone) now his tests shows that he is Hyperthyroid (too high hormone because of the medicine). The doctor still wants to keep him on medication for the remainder of the year to make sure everything is ok. but his thyroid gland is now defiantly producing hormones. GLORY TO GOD! Indeed He is a miracle working God! Also last month after hearing the good news about Austin, the enemy started pointing his attacks on me. During our Sunday morning service, I felt a stomach cramps so I ran to the restroom. One of my helper was there waiting for her turn. I told her that I have a terrible stomach pain. I grabbed on to one of the cubicle door and passed out. The next thing I new, I was on the restroom floor and people are crowding around me. I felt very week and disoriented. People were panicking and Markus got called from the sanctuary to come and assist me. People start shoving candies in my mouth and called someone too my blood pressure. My BP was 90/60. They told me that what I had was hypoglycemia. The next day, Monday, Markus took me to the doctor and I was prescribed to have my blood sugar tests and ECG. I knew a lot of people prayed for me that Sunday, after it was announced in the pulpit. I got my test done right away and my ECG. The reading of my ECG shows my heart beat was not in right timing, the electricity flowing from the left side of my heart to my right is weak. He also saw something that concerned him, so he told me to go to a Cardiologist. The heart doctor told me that I need to get another test which is called 2D Echo, an ultrasound of the heart because he saw on my reading that I have an enlargement of the heart (my left side of the heart). I thought the first bad news was bad enough, hearing the second one concerned me a bit. I prayed and asked God to intervene. Again, I had peace of mind. I did the 2D Echo test and waited for 4 days for the result. I called mom Gisela she asked people all over the world to pray for me. I knew I was covered with prayer. When I got the result back, I took it to the heart doctor for reading. The doctor looked at the result and turned to Markus, who was with me. He said to him that he will still get stuck with me for a very long time. He said that I’m healthy as a horse, and that I have a healthy heart. Another MIRACLE done by our GREAT GOD!
