I attended the 16 day pastoral training school that Markus and Bambi have been leading. During the time, I got to experience everything they had been telling me firsthand. The training school was great, but what is even greater is the blessings that came after the school. I had befriended a lot of pastors and church leaders. The day after the school I was invited to speak at a youth group. At the meeting we could feel God moving. There were a lot of young people who decided to give their whole life to God without holding anything back. Once the meeting was finished a young man came to the pastor asking him if we could come to his house and pray for his mother. His mother had high blood pressure. As we walked to his house the youth pastor explained to me that this young man used to be on fire for the Lord, but because his mother was not a Christian he would sometimes be forbidden to go to church. Once we got to the house the young man’s mother welcomed us inside and was happy to receive our prayers. The group elected me to be the one to pray for her, but asked if I would first say something before prayer. Not knowing what to say, I explained why I was there, and why I wanted to pray for her, and I told here the reason was Jesus and what He has done for us all. I began to explain the gospel message, and before we even prayed for her healing she had accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. We left the house excited about what God had done, and even more excited about the things He is still going to do in that family. A few days later I got the message from the pastor I was with, that he went back to visit and found out that God had totally healed the young man’s mother. God is a good God!
