CPLT Ministry Report November 2008 - Markus Huyssen
Posted on December 9, 2008

November is always a busy month for us, as it is the time when our entire team gathers from throughout the Philippines and the region and comes to Manila for our annual summit meeting, which is a time of training, mentoring, ministry and fellowship. We had a great three days with the team, and laid out our strategies and goals for 2009, which we are calling a Year of Harvest. You will be pleased to know we are aiming for 55 new churches and over 10,000 new converts in 2009.

Leadership Training

This month we had an opportunity to work with one of the churches connected with our team and help give further training to their 73 cell leaders who were present. It was a joy to see since at the beginning of 2008, they had no small group ministry at all. Today there are more that 73 small groups ministering each week. They have now begun a prayer campaign with the aim of having a spiritual harvest of friends and relatives during the Holiday Season. It is exciting to imagine what can happen when 73 people begin to pray for a harvest of souls.

Church Planting: The Call Worship Center

Additionally, November has been an exceptionally exciting month for us, as The Call Worship Center is like a jet on the runway ready for take off. We have found a conference room in our target area of Eastwood that we can use hourly on the weekends for our service. We have started holding pre-launch services there already since mid November and have broken the 50 people barrier, with 55 people attending the service on November 22. We were targeting to launch with 50 to 75 people in February; it seems that is already a reality. Thank you for your prayers and finances that have, and will make all of this possible. May the seed that you have sown, reap a might financial harvest for you in the remainder of 2008 and especially in 2009, the year of Harvest. May you have a blessed and wonderful Holiday Season and New Year!
